The Harbour is protected by an Outer North-South Dike which envelops a water mirror of more than 100.000 square meters subdivided in three basins with depths from 2.0 to 5.0 meters .The entrance to the Harbour is from North. 893 berths ,90 of which reserved for transit, are distributed along : - 13 Piers numbered from 1 to 13, - 2 Wharfs :North and South Wharf , - 1200 meters of Docks: North, Central , South, - 700 meters of Outer Dike. Boats up to 28 meters long can be hosted with maximum draft of 4,5 meters. Mooring system consists of mother-chains clamped to concrete blocks casted (sea bottom moorings) into the sea bottom centreline of the sailing channels , bollards and rings on the piers/docks/wharfs. Lines connecting rings and mother-chains ,without buoys, are provided. Piers have berths both sides named west side (offshore direction) and east side (onshore direction). Berth numbers increase from tip to the root of piers and wharf , from north to south along the outer dike, north dock, central dock, south dock.
